Summer is over, uni is starting again soon and that alone can make life a little depressing. What to do when the melancholic mode strikes you, why, shopping of course. Every year I have a list of dream items in my head, one or the other has already been ticked of in the past 9 months but for the last quarter of the year there are still some goodies left on that list.
Starting clockwise:
1) Glasses: I have terrible eyesight, literally cannot see anything without my contacts. For at home I have an ugly pair of glasses which seriously need to be replaced for a much more stylish alternative.
2) Prada bag: I know I have treated myself to the 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli but really, a girl can never have enough bags right?
3) Chanel Les Beiges Compact Powder: Something I have been meaning to get forever but never had the chance to but this time around I'll make sure to get my hands on this beauty.
4) Moschino belt: This is one of those items I've been lusting over forever but never acutally went through with purchasing, but who knows, maybe by the end of this year I'll be able to call it mine.
5) Prada sunglasses: Honestly this has never really been on my radar that much, but I am going to a Prada Outlet store soon which is why I am keeping my options open :)
6) The leather jacket: I know, kind of a wardrobe staple, yet I don't have one, so this has got to be changed asap.
7) Transparent bag: Why not?
Well it is christmas soon( not really), right? :)
Der Sommer ist vorbei, die Uni beginnt bald wieder, das allein kann einen schon ziemlich runterziehen. Was macht man also, wenn einem ein leichter Anfall von Depression überkommt, richtig, man geht shoppen (wenn momentan auch nur in Gedanken.) Jedes Jahr erstelle ich mir eine kleine Liste von materiellen Wünschen, der ein oder andere Wunsch wurde bereits im Laufe der letzten neun Monate erfüllt, aber für das letzte Vierteljahr haben sich noch einige "Kleinigkeiten" angesammelt, die ich mir vielleicht noch gönnen werde. Immerhin ist ja bald (haha!) Weihnachten!

On my Shopping List
Time for another wishlist of mine. I've scribbled down all of the things I am craving right now for the past few months and decided to show you guys a selection of those things in a little collage. Been saving up like a good girl and will be off soon to a little trip to treat myself to some long awaited goodies. There is definitely much more I will try to purchase while I am there but this sums up the essentials. Anything you guys fancy on this wishlist? Will be sharing more about that trip soon. Es ist an der Zeit für eine weitere Wunschliste. Ich habe im Laufe der Monate immer wieder aufgeschrieben was ich mir unbedingt noch zulegen möchte und wollte euch einen Großteil davon in einer kleinen Collage zeigen. Ich habe schon fleißig gespart und werde bald einen kleinen Trip unternehmen um mir diese langersehnten Stücke zu gönnen. Meine Liste ist definitiv länger als das was oben gezeigt wird aber die zwei Collagen decken zumindest das Wichtigste auf meiner Liste. Gefällt euch auch das ein oder andere auf meiner Wunschliste? Glamour Fashion Week Picks
Today marks the beginning of the annual Glamour Fashion Week here in Germany, a week full of discounted shopping thanks to a little pink card.Like every year I can't really pass up on the offers, though usually Sale season starts off right after and things are often even cheaper then.I guess that't the cycle of cunsumerism. In order to limit myself to only the most necessary purchases, I've compiled a collage of things I'll definitely need to pick up with the offer.

Wie jedes Jahr kann ich einigen Angeboten nicht widerstehen, obwohl die Sale Saison bald nach der Shopping Week beginnt und die Teile meist noch günstiger zu bekommen sind. Wahrscheinlich liegt es einfach am Teufelskreis der Konsumsucht.Um mich nur auf das Wichtigste zu beschränken, habe ich eine Collage mit den Teilen erstellt, die ich auf jeden Fall im Angebot ergattern will.

- Houndstooth pattern: I have been looking around practically everywhere for ages for a nice black and white houndstooth patterned sweater/cardigan and have yet to find the perfect one. I am on a clothing shopping ban, but this is the one item that I NEED in my closet.
- Yves Saint Laurent: My strategy is, since I won't be spending unneccessary amounts of money on clothing I might as well invest in good quality make up. I was always the drugstore type of girl, and really I had a good reason to, these high end brands are frickin' expensive! But I think if it comes to sensitive areas like your skin, it can't hurt to go for quality once in a while. On my list are the Le Teint Touche Éclat foundation as well as one of their beautiful lipsticks. I will spoil myself, but it definitely won't be both at the same time, or else I might get reasonable again.
- Nike Free running shoes: One of my new year's resolution is to work out. I am such a lazy bum and my stamina has gone down the drain. I figured by buying suitable sportswear my motivation level might take a heap as much as my bank account will take a fall.
And lastly the probably cheapest but prettiest bit out of the bunch. Fresh tulips. They are hands down one of my favorite flowers and they just instantly lift my mood into spring and sun and freshness. I got a beautiful bouquet from my bf for valentine's day and I will fill the apartment with even more, once they've grown even more beautiful.
That being said, I don't think I will ever escape this cycle of consumerism.Sigh.

Sheinside Order

I placed a Sheinside order in the beginning of december and thought I'd show you what I got and share with you my opinion on the store and it's clothing. As you can see I ordered a very Zara-esque jacket with quilted pleather sleeves, a AA 3D flower mesh inspired blue sweater, a christmas sweater and a denim vest.
Let me start with the negative things. The shipping period took quite a long time, around three weeks, which was probably mostly due to the christmas season. Even though the store ships for free internationally, once my package arrived, I had to pay around 20€ in taxes to my postman, which I didn't expect and was slightly taken aback by. You should've seen my expression, not amused.
I did contact Sheinside after I didn't receive my package as soon as I had expected and I have to say that their costumer service is quite good. They answered to my mail very quickly and assured me they would try to send out my parcel asap. I got a little necklace as kind of a recompensation for the waiting period which was also very sweet.
On the quality of the clothing: I really can't complain. The prices of the clothing are more than reasonable and they do really great dupes to stuff that is much more expensive elsewhere. The black jacket I got for around 40€, while the almost exact same one retailed at Zara for 180€. You can do the math.
All in all, I am really satisfied with my order, unfortunately I couldn't wear my Christmas jumper during Christmas, since it arrived too late, but there's always next year. I would love to order more from their website in the future, but I am really not okay with paying additional fees every time I order. Anyone know how I can avoid that? Otherwise, thumbs up to the page, you should check them out if you have time.

Christmas Wishlist
So it's that time of the year again, where artificial lights illuminate the streets and our homes and everyone is either freaking out or loving every moment of the crazy frenzy that is Christmas. In the spirit of giving (and receiving) I have put together a more or less ultimate wishlist of the material items my heart is craving for this year. I'll be honest, number 1 and 10 (a Christmas or anytime trip to the city of my heart, New York) is rather utopic this year around but the other items I will surely either ask Santa for or purchase myself.

Coat Inspiration
Every year is the same old dilemma (for me at least). What coat should I get this winter? I'll be honest, it's not like I am lacking in the coat department, but for me coats kind of lose their charm after one winter, sure I still wear those I bought years ago, but yet again I always go on the hunt for a new one once the weather cools down. Currently I am browsing online for a coat that preferably I won't see on anyone else in my town and I put together a few utopian choices of different types of them here. Do you guys have any good recommendation for online shops that carry nice and especially warm coats? Suggestions are very welcome. Until then I am left drooling over one or the other piece that probably will never make it into my closet.

Don't sweat that

I am loving me some sweater action during autumn/ winter season. Nothing is more appropriate than cuddling yourself into thick and warm material. My favorites include patterns(preferably aztec), solid colored knits and prints, the bigger the better.
