New In: Dreams Come True

About a month ago I went to the Metzingen Outlet here in Germany on a mission. Finding and investing in a timeless designer bag. And with designer I meant Prada, one of my all time favorite brands. I invested in a wallet half a year ago and wanted to find the matching bag to go with it. I couldn't bring myself to pay full price for a piece of leather though so the trip to Metzingen, which had them bags reduced to over 50% was inevitable. As you can see, I was successful(way more than that) in my mission. Didn't wind up with my preferred color choice but I am so happy with what I splurged on. I saved a lot for this and rewarded myself.

Sometimes pictures do all the talking. Work hard, play hard people!

For etwa einem Monat bin ich ins Designer Outlet in Metzingen gefahren um mir einen Traum zu erfüllen, und zwar in eine zeitlose Designertasche zu investieren. Und mit Designer meine ich Prada, eines meiner absoluten Lieblingslabels. Ich habe vor ca. einem halben Jahr in einen Geldbeutel investiert und wollte nun die passende Tasche dazu finden. Jedoch konnte und wollte ich nicht den volen Preis für ein Stück Leder bezahlen, deswegen war der Trip nach Metzingen, wo es die Taschen über 50% günstiger gibt unerlässlich.

Und wie ihr sehen könnt war ich erfolgreich (mehr als das). Ich habe zwar nicht meine Traumfarbe gefunden aber bin so unheimlich glücklich über meine Entscheidung. Ich habe hart gearbeitet und viel gespart und mir selber ein Geschenk bereitet. 

Manchmal sagen Bilder mehr als Worte. Also genießt hoffentlich den Anblick so sehr wie ich!

I just can't help it, I am a little bit of a shopaholic. It is even more evident when the annual sales come around and the prices drop like hot bread. So here is a small selection of things I picked up during the past couple months, a mix of summer clothing but also two must have items (in my book) for the upcoming fall season, cut-out boots (which I have been lusting over forever) and an off the shoulder top.

The gorgeous heels in the last picture were an impulse buy. They were on sale and just screamed by name so I had to take them home with me. Classy heels never hurt. 

I am one of those people who rarely ever buy anything full price when it comes to clothing but then again I just can't stop once those items are reduced, literally can't.stop.

 Ich kann es einfach nicht lassen, ich bin ein kleiner Shopping-Suchti. Ich falle umso mehr in diese Spirale wenn die jährlichen Sales kommen und die Preise stürzen wie sonst was. Also kommt hier eine kleine Auswahl an Sachen, die sich während der letzten Monate angesammelt hat, Cut-Out Boots (die ich schon ewig haben wollte) sowie ein Off-the shoulder Oberteil.

Die wunderschönen Schuhe im letzten Bild waren ein kleiner Impulskauf. Sie waren reduziert und haben nach mir gerufen im Laden also musste ich sie mitnehmen. Außerdem kann Frau nie genug klassische Heels haben.

Ich bin einer dieser Menschen die kaum etwas zum Vollpreis kauft wenn es um Kleidung geht aber wenn sie dann reduziert werden, kann ich auch einfach nicht aufhören mit dem Einkaufen.

New In: Beauty

As I had mentioned before I am trying to invest into beauty more than into clothes as I am definitely not lacking in that department anymore.
A week or so ago the monthly glossybox arrived. I won't go into detail about the products, I think you can get an idea from the pictures but I was less than thrilled by the content and to make a long story short, I cancelled my subscription with that brand upon receiving the box. My make-up drawer is overflowing with the products/samples they sent me, because I was rarely ecstatic to try their brands. Farewell, Glossybox!

To the more exciting stuff. Recently placed an online order and these beauties arrived last week at my humble home. Benefit's Finding Mr. Bright a box with cute sample sizes of some of Benefit's highly coveted products, such as their highlighter and cheek tint. Been dying to get my hands on those products and can't wait to try them out.
Also new in my lipstick collection is Mac's Plumful. I am a sucker for MAC lipsticks, this one is the fifth one in my collection and I think this is only the beginning. The color payoff is stunning and I have been hearing praises on this one from Youtube gurus left and right so that should be a good sign. So far, I love it.

 And last but not least, you should know this one: Urban Decay's Naked Palette. It's been on my wishlist for months now, and how could it not, that palette has been praised to the heavens, I just had to get it, and it really did not disappoint. Been using the palette almost every single day and the colors are just beautiful and easy on the eyes. Literally. Got it as a birthday gift, so thank you, you know who you are :))

Honestly I used to be a complete noob when it comes to make-up, but thanks to Youtube and all of the fabulous make-up gurus I've been learning the 101 on make up and brands to try. I already have my eyes on the next beauty products, but honestly high end make up is so expensive man.But it is really worth it's price most of the time, that's for sure.

I wasn't lying, I did SO MUCH shopping during the last two months or so. And yes it was mainly due to the massive sales going on during and after christmas time, I just couldn't resist. But now that the sale is winding down I am going on a strict shopping ban. No more indulging and impulse buys, I am saving up for some quality items and also for holiday so I will have to restrain myself. And my closet is practically bursting at the seams anyways so it will only be for the better.
