The month of March in an Instagram- nutshell. Not much this month, probably because to me at least the month flew by even quicker than february. This month I attended a wedding, a farewell lunch, did some serious shopping, had amazing breakfast and baked a bunch of seriously chocolate-y cookies.

Der Monat März in Instagram-Form. Nicht viele Bilder sind diesen Monat enstanden, wahrscheinlich weil der März noch schneller an mir vorbeizog als der Februar. Diesen Monat war ich auf einer Hochzeit, einem Abschieds-Lunch, hab ziemlich viel geshoppt, hatte wunderbar leckeres Frühstück und habe richtig schokoladige Kekse alle Vivianna does Make Up gebacken.

So I did some spontaneous and random purchases over the past few weeks and decided to share them here. I placed an online order on h&m because I really craved that hologram clutch and when I walked into Mango the other day I just couldn't pass on that tiger print shirt. So obsessed with tiger print, and not just since "Life of Pi". The Zara tote was really really spontaneous but I just couldn't leave it there.
As for the lipstick, no joke I have been walking in and out of the YSL store forever, not buying anything but last week I did get my first lipstick there and gosh the packaging is so gorgeous. Yes I am one of those packaging victims.
Memo to myself: Need to stop shopping!

Ich habe im Laufe der letzten Wochen häufiger spontan gesündigt und wollte in einem Kollektiv-Haul alles zeigen. Habe letzte Woche online bei H&M bestellt da ich unbedingt diese Hologram-Clutch haben wollte. Außerdem war ich letztens im Mango und konnte nicht widerstehen mir das Tiger-Print Shirt zuzulegen.Bin richtig auf diesem Tiger Trip (nicht erst seit Life of Pi) Die Zara Tasche war wirklich ein Spontaneinkauf aber ich konnte sie nicht im Laden zurücklassen.

Was den Lippi angeht,, ich bin ohne Witz bestimmt 10 mal im YSL store hin und hergelaufen ohne etwas zu kaufen aber habe mir letzte Woche endlich meinen ersten gegönnt und allein schon die Verpackung ist einfach hinreissend. Und ja, ich bin eines dieser Verpackungsopfer.
Notiz an mich selbst:  ICH MUSS AUFHÖREN EINZUKAUFEN!

Beanie Action

Floral Mess

Feeling so uninspired lately, mainly due to the horrible weather. I planned on taking some outfit pictures outside yesterday but it was so gloomy all day and my camera doesn't work all that great when there is no natural lighting so I forced the boyfriend to take a few random shots while in the Zara dressing room. He was all like "the staff is watching me" but I really didn't care. We barely managed to get good pictures out of the situation but I still wanted to share this floral bomber jacket I got in the H&M sales a few months ago. I love to throw it on to give every outfit a lift. By the way, on my lips I slapped on Mac's Girl about Town, love this pinky shade, whenever I feel a bit meh, I like a pop of color on my lips to brighten things up.

Fühle mich in letzter Zeit ein wenig uninspiriert, wollte eigentlich im Freien Bilder von meinem Outfit machen, aber das graue, eintönige Wetter hat mir leider einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht,da meine Kamera bei schlechtem Lichteinfang den Geist aufgibt.Hab daher meinen Freund dazu genöigt in der Zara Umkleidekabine diese Schnappschüsse zu knipsen. Ich habe meine geliebte Blumenbomberjacke von H&M ausgeführt, die jedem Outfit das gewisse Etwas verleiht. Und falls ihr euch fragt, auf meinen Lippen trage ich "Girl about Town" von MAC, ein wunderbarer Pinkton, der einfach meine Laune hebt.

ps: Es geht schon eine Weile das Gerücht herum, aber anscheinend scheint es nun offiziell zu sein, dass GFC als Follow-Plattform bald nicht mehr verfügbar ist. Folgt mir, wenn ihr mögt deshalb gerne auf Bloglovin!

Marine Stripes

I have been pretty obsessed with stripes lately and in any color combination. I really didn't want to shop anything until the end of the month but a girl can't possibly pass a bargain and so I bought this really simple but still stylish blue/white striped shirt. The temperatures around here have dropped drastically again and I am seriously getting sick of this weather. Sun/rain/snow are really playing their game and I hate it!
At least we only got two days until the weekend.

Ger: Ich bin seit geraumer Zeit richtig angefixt von Streifen und das in jeglicher Form und Ausführung. Eigentlich wollte ich mich, was das Shoppen angeht diesen Monat zurückhalten aber dieses Blau/Weiß gestreifte Oberteil war ein Schnäppchen das ich nicht im Laden lassen konnte. Die Bilder sind übrigens am Wochenende entstanden wo die Temperaturen noch schön angenehm waren, was momentan nicht der Fall ist. Ich bin schon richtig genervt von diesem wechselhaften Wetter, mal Sonne, mal Regen und dann sogar wieder Schnee, wenigstens naht das Wochenende und ich hoffe die Sonne kommt bald wieder zurück.

New In: Prada

En: So I did a little ( I mean define little) shopping last week. I swear I did not plan on purchasing this item when I went into the store that day. I had been eyeing different designer wallets online and offline during the past few months and never really went through with the plan of purchasing one. Until recently when I decided I would just go for it and make the investment. But when I stood in the store and spotted this beauty it was still a bit of a surprise. But if I had hesitated then I probably wouldn't have bought it at all.
It was definitely love at first sight. I was looking for a model that was timeless and would go with everything and I think I found it with this grey Prada number. What can I say, it was definitely not a bargain but I have been working my butt off for months and felt like I could splurge once in a while.
This is my first really serious designer piece ever and I will always cherish and treat it with care, since firsts are always special and it did cost a little fortune so it better last me forever.
I definitely don't regret the investment and knowing I bought it off my own money isn't bad either :)

Ger. Nach monatelangem Zögern und Anschmachten habe ich mich endlich getraut in ein wunderschönes, hochwertiges und nicht ganz billiges Portemonnaie zu investieren. Für jemanden wie mich, der ständig auf der Suche nach den besten Schnäppchen ist, keine Selbstverständlichkeit aber es stand schon seit langer Zeit ganz oben auf meiner Wunschliste und so habe ich letzte Woche mehr oder weniger spontan dieses Modell von Prada mitgenommen. Es ist schon ,wie ich finde ein kleines Vermögen was ich im Laden gelassen habe aber ich bin der festen Überzeugung dass sich die Investition gelohnt hat. Ich bin verliebt!

Winter Blues

These pictures were taken over a week ago, when the snow was still lingering around on the streets and the temperatures were at a much lower scale. One of the (hopefully) last opportunities to wear out one of my favorite thick scarfs from Zara. The texture is incredibly soft and cozy, plus it keeps me so warm, even when the wind knocks me off cold. But honestly even though I love that piece, I'd rather trade it in for some sunglasses now, I have more than enough of that cold, icy winter. But the days have gotten a lot brighter and longer lately and I can feel it, spring is just around the corner. It better be.

Spring Floral

The weather this past weekend has definitely been brightening up and the sun has finally made its long awaited comeback. Whenever that happens people just suddenly come swarming out of their homes and the city is full of people again. For the occasion I decided to bring out my floral, breezy tops again, been waiting to wear this for so long now. I don't know about you but the sun just instantly makes me happier and brighter. And it's also been the first time in months that I wore my sunglasses out again. So yay for spring!

February Favorites

 Introducing a new segment on the blog, I think you guys are all familiar with the monthly favorites videos that nearly every youtube beauty/fashion guru puts up on a monthly basis, talking about the products they enjoyed the most over the month. February really flew by and I compiled a list of different items I enjoyed using/having the most during the month.

 Fashion: This month I practically lived with this accessorize bag. It's a fairly new purchase I had also shown previously in a collective haul post and ever since I got it, it has been hanging off my shoulder on a day to day basis. It's huge and fits all of my neccessities and more and I love the vibrant red.

 Beauty: For the past two months already I have been loving the Balea shower gel and body lotion in cherry/almond and figs/chocolate scent. Balea is a german drugstore brand which you can purchase in dm, a kind of equivalent to the UK's Boots or US's Walgreens. The smell is divine and it just made my shower experience a lot sweeter.

 Food/Beverage: I'm a tea-addict, especially during the colder months. I just love to relax in bed, catching up on blogs, watching youtube videos while sipping on a hot cup of tea. Teekanne's Kaminabend which loosely translates into "An evening at the fireplace" is my absolute favorite kind. And to fellow german-based folks, I am one of those people who squeal and sing along everytime the Kinder Riegel commercial comes on TV. Just the cutest thing ever!

 Music: Most favorite song this month hands down was The Weeknd's Wicked Games. Just so smooth and soothing, I have been loving his stuff, so much soul and feeling in his voice.

 TV/Movie: My new absolute favorite TV show has got to be Misfits. The boyfriend and I have been pretty much obsessed with that series. It's a UK production for those of you who are not familiar with the series about a group of teenagers who get sentenced to community service. They get struck by lightning during the community service and obtain supernatural powers. It's comedy/mystery mixed with supernatural elements and really keeps you entertained and intrigued. As I've said I am obsessed with that series, go check it out if you can!

Misc: My new Ipad Mini has been definitely one of my biggest favorites this month. I take it almost everywhere with me, it's so light and easy to carry around and it just makes everything so much easier. I don't need to pull out my laptop for every little research anymore and can enjoy movies, internet and everything between with just a touch basically. Loving it big time.
