Wanted to pop in to show you some of my new favorite purchases made this month. Mostly casual, comfortable items with a little bit of an edge. Will be showing them worn in upcoming posts. Have a lovely weekend.

New Favorites

Sometimes trends are really hard to pass by. Especially when you, like myself spend every waking hour glued to Instagram and checking up on the blogosphere. The trends I have been especially gravitating towards lately are slip-ons, fuzzy cardigans and asymmetrical skirts. I succumbed to buying these snake print-esque h&m slip ons as well as finally getting my hands on one of those fuzzy cardigans that were all the rage during the winter time. Does that make them out of date already? Pretty confusing to keep with all of the seasons it-items, trends to tend to recycle themselves every season or so anyways. Keep an eye out on these items being styled in outfits coming up.

Manchmal kommt man an gewissen Trends einfach nicht vorbei, besonders wenn man wie ich, 24/7 an Instagram hänge und konstant die Blogosphäre verfolgt. Die Trends dich ich in letzter Zeit besonders ansprechend finde sind Slippers, flauschige Cardigans und asymmetrische Röcke. Ich bin dem Hype um diese schlangenartigen Slippers von h&m erlegen und habe mir auch endlich einer dieser Cardigans die den Winter schon fast dominiert haben, geholt. Sind sie deswegen auch schon wieder out? Ziemlich verwirrend da noch mithalten zu können, zumal sich Trends doch Saison für Saison wiederholen. Haltet auf jeden Fall die Augen offen für kommende Outfitposts mit diesen Teilen.

I just can't help it, I am a little bit of a shopaholic. It is even more evident when the annual sales come around and the prices drop like hot bread. So here is a small selection of things I picked up during the past couple months, a mix of summer clothing but also two must have items (in my book) for the upcoming fall season, cut-out boots (which I have been lusting over forever) and an off the shoulder top.

The gorgeous heels in the last picture were an impulse buy. They were on sale and just screamed by name so I had to take them home with me. Classy heels never hurt. 

I am one of those people who rarely ever buy anything full price when it comes to clothing but then again I just can't stop once those items are reduced, literally can't.stop.

 Ich kann es einfach nicht lassen, ich bin ein kleiner Shopping-Suchti. Ich falle umso mehr in diese Spirale wenn die jährlichen Sales kommen und die Preise stürzen wie sonst was. Also kommt hier eine kleine Auswahl an Sachen, die sich während der letzten Monate angesammelt hat, Cut-Out Boots (die ich schon ewig haben wollte) sowie ein Off-the shoulder Oberteil.

Die wunderschönen Schuhe im letzten Bild waren ein kleiner Impulskauf. Sie waren reduziert und haben nach mir gerufen im Laden also musste ich sie mitnehmen. Außerdem kann Frau nie genug klassische Heels haben.

Ich bin einer dieser Menschen die kaum etwas zum Vollpreis kauft wenn es um Kleidung geht aber wenn sie dann reduziert werden, kann ich auch einfach nicht aufhören mit dem Einkaufen.

The 3.1. Phillip Lim Pashli

 Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce to you my new love, treasure, obsession, splurge, you name it. Isn't she beautiful? I was eyeing this beauty up and down for months, in all different kinds of colors and finally decided to treat myself to this 3.1. Phillip Lim Pashli tote in large coral.
It's as I just stated the biggest one out of the bunch and really it is huge. I am pretty petite so it comes off as even bigger but therefore fits tons of things. The material is also extremely durable and sturdy, you have the short handle and also a detachable long shoulder strap, which is really long, hence why I had to get a few additional holes done to have it a bit shorter.
The only downside is that the bag by itself is already pretty heavy so when you carry your life around (as I tend to do) it can get a little tiring after a while, especially when you carry it on the shorts straps. But I guess it will only take some time getting used to, the bag is really statement, elegant and timeless in my eyes and the coral is especially perfect for spring/summer, so I can only recommend you going for it, if you've been contemplating on getting the Pashli!

Ladies und Gentlemen, darf ich euch meine neue Liebe, meinen Schatz, Obsession, Investition, wie auch immer ihr es nennen wollt, vorstellen. Ist sie nicht wunderschön? Ich habe diese Schönheit wirklich schon Monate angeschmachtet, in jeglicher Farbausführung und habe mir endlich die große 3.1. Phillip Lim Pashli in Korall gegönnt.
Wie schon gesagt ist sie die größte ihrer Art und wirklich sie ist rießig.Ich bin ziemlich klein also wirkt sie an mir noch größer aber dafür passt auch sehr viel in die Tasche. Das Material der Tasche ist auch sehr robust, es gibt einen kurzen Henkel und auch einen abnehmbaren Schultergurt, der aber auch sehr lang ist, weswegen ich einige zusätzliche Löcher anbringen musste um ihn kürzer zu schnallen. 
Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist dass die Tasche an sich schon ziemlich schwer ist, also wenn man sein halbes Leben mit sich rumträgt ( was bei mir oft der Fall ist), wird es mit der Zeit etwas anstrengend, besonders wenn man die Tasche an den kurzen Henkeln trägt. Aber wahrscheinlich muss man sich einfach erst mal daran gewöhnen, die Tasche ist auf jeden Fall ein Eye-catcher, elegant und zeitlos in meinen Augen und Korall ist besonders ideal für den Frühling/Sommer. Wer also schon länger mit dem Gedanken spielt sich die Tasche zuzulegen dem kann ich nur sagen, traut euch!

So I did some spontaneous and random purchases over the past few weeks and decided to share them here. I placed an online order on h&m because I really craved that hologram clutch and when I walked into Mango the other day I just couldn't pass on that tiger print shirt. So obsessed with tiger print, and not just since "Life of Pi". The Zara tote was really really spontaneous but I just couldn't leave it there.
As for the lipstick, no joke I have been walking in and out of the YSL store forever, not buying anything but last week I did get my first lipstick there and gosh the packaging is so gorgeous. Yes I am one of those packaging victims.
Memo to myself: Need to stop shopping!

Ich habe im Laufe der letzten Wochen häufiger spontan gesündigt und wollte in einem Kollektiv-Haul alles zeigen. Habe letzte Woche online bei H&M bestellt da ich unbedingt diese Hologram-Clutch haben wollte. Außerdem war ich letztens im Mango und konnte nicht widerstehen mir das Tiger-Print Shirt zuzulegen.Bin richtig auf diesem Tiger Trip (nicht erst seit Life of Pi) Die Zara Tasche war wirklich ein Spontaneinkauf aber ich konnte sie nicht im Laden zurücklassen.

Was den Lippi angeht,, ich bin ohne Witz bestimmt 10 mal im YSL store hin und hergelaufen ohne etwas zu kaufen aber habe mir letzte Woche endlich meinen ersten gegönnt und allein schon die Verpackung ist einfach hinreissend. Und ja, ich bin eines dieser Verpackungsopfer.
Notiz an mich selbst:  ICH MUSS AUFHÖREN EINZUKAUFEN!

New In: Prada

En: So I did a little ( I mean define little) shopping last week. I swear I did not plan on purchasing this item when I went into the store that day. I had been eyeing different designer wallets online and offline during the past few months and never really went through with the plan of purchasing one. Until recently when I decided I would just go for it and make the investment. But when I stood in the store and spotted this beauty it was still a bit of a surprise. But if I had hesitated then I probably wouldn't have bought it at all.
It was definitely love at first sight. I was looking for a model that was timeless and would go with everything and I think I found it with this grey Prada number. What can I say, it was definitely not a bargain but I have been working my butt off for months and felt like I could splurge once in a while.
This is my first really serious designer piece ever and I will always cherish and treat it with care, since firsts are always special and it did cost a little fortune so it better last me forever.
I definitely don't regret the investment and knowing I bought it off my own money isn't bad either :)

Ger. Nach monatelangem Zögern und Anschmachten habe ich mich endlich getraut in ein wunderschönes, hochwertiges und nicht ganz billiges Portemonnaie zu investieren. Für jemanden wie mich, der ständig auf der Suche nach den besten Schnäppchen ist, keine Selbstverständlichkeit aber es stand schon seit langer Zeit ganz oben auf meiner Wunschliste und so habe ich letzte Woche mehr oder weniger spontan dieses Modell von Prada mitgenommen. Es ist schon ,wie ich finde ein kleines Vermögen was ich im Laden gelassen habe aber ich bin der festen Überzeugung dass sich die Investition gelohnt hat. Ich bin verliebt!

New In: Beauty

As I had mentioned before I am trying to invest into beauty more than into clothes as I am definitely not lacking in that department anymore.
A week or so ago the monthly glossybox arrived. I won't go into detail about the products, I think you can get an idea from the pictures but I was less than thrilled by the content and to make a long story short, I cancelled my subscription with that brand upon receiving the box. My make-up drawer is overflowing with the products/samples they sent me, because I was rarely ecstatic to try their brands. Farewell, Glossybox!

To the more exciting stuff. Recently placed an online order and these beauties arrived last week at my humble home. Benefit's Finding Mr. Bright a box with cute sample sizes of some of Benefit's highly coveted products, such as their highlighter and cheek tint. Been dying to get my hands on those products and can't wait to try them out.
Also new in my lipstick collection is Mac's Plumful. I am a sucker for MAC lipsticks, this one is the fifth one in my collection and I think this is only the beginning. The color payoff is stunning and I have been hearing praises on this one from Youtube gurus left and right so that should be a good sign. So far, I love it.

 And last but not least, you should know this one: Urban Decay's Naked Palette. It's been on my wishlist for months now, and how could it not, that palette has been praised to the heavens, I just had to get it, and it really did not disappoint. Been using the palette almost every single day and the colors are just beautiful and easy on the eyes. Literally. Got it as a birthday gift, so thank you, you know who you are :))

Honestly I used to be a complete noob when it comes to make-up, but thanks to Youtube and all of the fabulous make-up gurus I've been learning the 101 on make up and brands to try. I already have my eyes on the next beauty products, but honestly high end make up is so expensive man.But it is really worth it's price most of the time, that's for sure.

I wasn't lying, I did SO MUCH shopping during the last two months or so. And yes it was mainly due to the massive sales going on during and after christmas time, I just couldn't resist. But now that the sale is winding down I am going on a strict shopping ban. No more indulging and impulse buys, I am saving up for some quality items and also for holiday so I will have to restrain myself. And my closet is practically bursting at the seams anyways so it will only be for the better.
