New In: Dreams Come True

About a month ago I went to the Metzingen Outlet here in Germany on a mission. Finding and investing in a timeless designer bag. And with designer I meant Prada, one of my all time favorite brands. I invested in a wallet half a year ago and wanted to find the matching bag to go with it. I couldn't bring myself to pay full price for a piece of leather though so the trip to Metzingen, which had them bags reduced to over 50% was inevitable. As you can see, I was successful(way more than that) in my mission. Didn't wind up with my preferred color choice but I am so happy with what I splurged on. I saved a lot for this and rewarded myself.

Sometimes pictures do all the talking. Work hard, play hard people!

For etwa einem Monat bin ich ins Designer Outlet in Metzingen gefahren um mir einen Traum zu erfüllen, und zwar in eine zeitlose Designertasche zu investieren. Und mit Designer meine ich Prada, eines meiner absoluten Lieblingslabels. Ich habe vor ca. einem halben Jahr in einen Geldbeutel investiert und wollte nun die passende Tasche dazu finden. Jedoch konnte und wollte ich nicht den volen Preis für ein Stück Leder bezahlen, deswegen war der Trip nach Metzingen, wo es die Taschen über 50% günstiger gibt unerlässlich.

Und wie ihr sehen könnt war ich erfolgreich (mehr als das). Ich habe zwar nicht meine Traumfarbe gefunden aber bin so unheimlich glücklich über meine Entscheidung. Ich habe hart gearbeitet und viel gespart und mir selber ein Geschenk bereitet. 

Manchmal sagen Bilder mehr als Worte. Also genießt hoffentlich den Anblick so sehr wie ich!

Wishful thinking

Summer is over, uni is starting again soon and that alone can make life a little depressing. What to do when the melancholic mode strikes you, why, shopping of course. Every year I have a list of dream items in my head, one or the other has already been ticked of in the past 9 months but for the last quarter of the year there are still some goodies left on that list.
Starting clockwise:
 1) Glasses: I have terrible eyesight, literally cannot see anything without my contacts. For at home I have an ugly pair of glasses which seriously need to be replaced for a much more stylish alternative.
 2) Prada bag: I know I have treated myself to the 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli but really, a girl can never have enough bags right?
 3) Chanel Les Beiges Compact Powder: Something I have been meaning to get forever but never had the chance to but this time around I'll make sure to get my hands on this beauty.
4) Moschino belt: This is one of those items I've been lusting over forever but never acutally went through with purchasing, but who knows, maybe by the end of this year I'll be able to call it mine.
 5) Prada sunglasses: Honestly this has never really been on my radar that much, but I am going to a Prada Outlet store soon which is why I am keeping my options open :)
6) The leather jacket: I know, kind of a wardrobe staple, yet I don't have one, so this has got to be changed asap.
7) Transparent bag: Why not?

Well it is christmas soon( not really), right? :)

Der Sommer ist vorbei, die Uni beginnt bald wieder, das allein kann einen schon ziemlich runterziehen. Was macht man also, wenn einem ein leichter Anfall von Depression überkommt, richtig, man geht shoppen (wenn momentan auch nur in Gedanken.) Jedes Jahr erstelle ich mir eine kleine Liste von materiellen Wünschen, der ein oder andere Wunsch wurde bereits im Laufe der letzten neun Monate erfüllt, aber für das letzte Vierteljahr haben sich noch einige "Kleinigkeiten" angesammelt, die ich mir vielleicht noch gönnen werde. Immerhin ist ja bald (haha!) Weihnachten!

New In: Prada

En: So I did a little ( I mean define little) shopping last week. I swear I did not plan on purchasing this item when I went into the store that day. I had been eyeing different designer wallets online and offline during the past few months and never really went through with the plan of purchasing one. Until recently when I decided I would just go for it and make the investment. But when I stood in the store and spotted this beauty it was still a bit of a surprise. But if I had hesitated then I probably wouldn't have bought it at all.
It was definitely love at first sight. I was looking for a model that was timeless and would go with everything and I think I found it with this grey Prada number. What can I say, it was definitely not a bargain but I have been working my butt off for months and felt like I could splurge once in a while.
This is my first really serious designer piece ever and I will always cherish and treat it with care, since firsts are always special and it did cost a little fortune so it better last me forever.
I definitely don't regret the investment and knowing I bought it off my own money isn't bad either :)

Ger. Nach monatelangem Zögern und Anschmachten habe ich mich endlich getraut in ein wunderschönes, hochwertiges und nicht ganz billiges Portemonnaie zu investieren. Für jemanden wie mich, der ständig auf der Suche nach den besten Schnäppchen ist, keine Selbstverständlichkeit aber es stand schon seit langer Zeit ganz oben auf meiner Wunschliste und so habe ich letzte Woche mehr oder weniger spontan dieses Modell von Prada mitgenommen. Es ist schon ,wie ich finde ein kleines Vermögen was ich im Laden gelassen habe aber ich bin der festen Überzeugung dass sich die Investition gelohnt hat. Ich bin verliebt!
