New York I

 Part 2 of New York, still day one, though I might jump around in chronology as I chose to just show some snippets here and there from the Big Apple. I apologize beforehand for the lack of creativity regarding my outfits, I tried but in the end all you really see is my coat since it was freezing during our stay in the States. But when in New York, the only thing that really counts is your background I guess.



Teil 2 von New York, immer noch vom ersten Tag. Ich werde mit den Bildern höchstwahrscheinlich in der Chronologie herumspringen und euch hier und da einige Eindrücke zeigen. Entschuldigt schonmal die Kreativlosigkeit in meiner Outfitwahl, ich habe mich bemüht aber im Endeffekt sieht man immer nur meinen Mantel da es so verdammt kalt war. Aber wenn man in New York ist, zählt doch am meisten die Kulisse, nicht wahr?

Back from the Unknown

Wow, what a hiatus this blog had to suffer. Ever since before christmas it's been awfully quiet around here. I do have the excuse of a broken laptop but other than that lots of eventful things happened at the beginning of the year, the main one being my trip to NEW YORK. Yes it happened. Finally, the biggest dream destination for years has been conquered by my humble self. It was beyond my imagination, beautiful, stunning and so freaking cold!

But more on that later. Glad to be back!

Wow, der Blog hat eine lange Zeit unter meiner Abwesenheit leiden müssen. Schon vor Weihnachten ist es hier still geworden, ich habe zwar die Ausrede mit dem kaputten Laptop parat aber sonst sind auch einige Dinge Anfang dieses Jahres passiert, ganz vorne dabei mein Trip nach NEW YORK. Ja, es ist endlich passiert, endlich habe ich meine Traumstadt erobert. Und sie war mehr als ich jemals erträumt habe, wunderschön, unglaublich und so kalt!

Aber mehr dazu später. Fühlt sich gut an zurück zu sein!

Christmas Wishlist 2013

So it's that time of the year again, we are getting closer and closer to Christmas and the end of 2013 and just like every friggin month of this year, time flew by too quickly.
This month I have been incredibly bad at blogging but this time I do have a real excuse, being that my laptop broke, and it proves to be quite difficult blogging when you don't have something to write on.
I will try to squeeze in at least a few more posts, outfits included until the end of the year. but for now a look at my annual wishlist.

I will be honest, on top of my list right now, for obvious reasons is a new laptop. And this year I will be lucky enough to receive a Macbook Pro from my parents for christmas. It's a very hefty price for what it is but I am going to write my bachelor thesis next year and really do need a good computer for this purpose.
The other items are bits and bobs I will definitely purchase myself this time around, nothing spectacular since there is something else, something bigger that I have made into my christmas/birthday present this year.

 From last years wishlist I was lucky enough to receive numbers 2,3 and 6 as christmas and birthday presents. As for the remaining items, I treated myself to a new wallet (Prada, not Miu Miu), the Real Techniques Brush, some Yankee Candles and the Lauren Conrad book.
Can you guess which wish will finally come true at the beginning of next year? (One tip, it is nothing material..). I think it's gratifying to mentally tick off things on your wishlist one by one as the year progresses, there is a meaning behind "work hard play hard" after all right :)

Honestly this year was a blessing to me in terms of material dreams that I treated myself to through hard work. But the most important wish, not every year but every day is health and happiness for my loved ones and myself. Materialistic things might make you happy for the moment but nothing beats being healthy, happy and having the people you care about around!
On this note, only one more week til Santa comes!

A little insta insta action for you guys. I combined two months this time around since I didn't get around to posting that much, boring life and such. Now winter time is really upon us, Christmas is coming up and I don't even know where the time went, wasn't it just Christmas a few months ago? Trying to be better with the posting, the sun sets so early it's pretty tough to get any outfits shot :(

Ein wenig Insta insta heute. Ich habe dieses Mal zwei Monate zusammengefasst da ich in letzter Zeit wirklich nicht viele Bilder gemacht habe, das langweilige Unileben bietet leider nicht die spannensten Geschichten. Jetzt ist der Winter tatsächlich eingekehrt, Weihnachten steht vor der Tür und ich weiß gar nicht wo die Zeit geblieben ist, haben wir nicht erst Weihnachten gefeiert?  Ich versuche diesen Monat mehr zu posten, die Sonne geht schon nachmittags unter was es nicht gerade erleichtert Bilder zu schießen :(
